We ship all orders from our warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden.

At Wangari we strive to minimize our environmental footprint at every level, including packaging and transportations. We pack and ship our products without any unnecessary wrapping or air in paper based recyclable boxes. We work consistently to improve our routines to always offer the best possible solution.

With our main production unit located in Hong Kong, we ship by boat unless special circumstances require other choices. The transportation chain requires reliable water-proof packaging. This means that our silk scarves sometimes will be wrapped in polybags made from 100% recycled materials when they arrive at your door, due to quality reasons and to minimize damages that will lead to unnecessary returns. Extra sensitive jewelry is protected in biodegradable packaging made with d2w-technology, which accelerates the natural process of oxidation when it is no longer in use, leaving the environment with no toxic residues and microplastics.

As soon as your order is registered, you will receive a confirmation to the address you entered when placing your order. If you did not receive an e-mail, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

We are able to cancel your order as long as it hasn't already been shipped. Once shipped, you'll need to initiate a return.

On smaller orders, the shipping charge will be added and visible at checkout before you finalize the order.

Your items will in general be delivered within 3-5 business days in Sweden. For Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany and The Netherlands allow approximately 5-7 working days for your order to arrive, and up to 21 working days for all other countries. For pre-order collections, the delivery time will be shown at the product site.

We're so happy you like our accessories, but unfortunately sold-out pieces won't be re-stocked since we´re dedicated to limited editions. Hopefully you will be able to find a similar favorite item in the store.

From the very beginning, Wangari Sthlm has supported selected non-profit organizations with a donation from every collection. Together we can create real change. No one is too small to make a difference. 

Our name is an homage to the internationally renowned Kenyan activist, Wangari Maathai. In 1977, Maathai founded the Green Belt Movement, empowering rural women to plant millions of trees to combat poverty and deforestation. In 2004 she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her contribution to sustainable development, democracy and peace. We are truly inspired by this pioneering leader and human rights defender, with the most beautiful name.

Our micro sponsorship program is based on two main activities; PR & social media content, and a monetary donation.  The amount depends on type of organization, their needs and size of the collection – most often a fixed amount per collaboration. Until today, Wangari Sthlm has supported nonprofit organizations including Wildhood Foundation, Ung Cancer, Tjejzonen, Mind and Ellas Hjältar with over 120 000 SEK, and a PR-value of above 3MSEK.
